Then they were bought by Scotia Bank and renamed Tangerine, and for a while it was still okay.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, over the past couple years the value of <a href=\"http:\/\/tangerine.ca\">Tangerine<\/a> has really dropped off a cliff.  They are no longer really competitive in any of their savings products, with a current rate of 1% vs. 3.25% with <a href=\"https:\/\/leonardhendricks.com\/index.php\/category\/banking\/outlook-financial\/\">Outlook Financial<\/a>.
